- 1. heat amaretto add raisins to plump-drain-save amaretto 2.bring cream, milk & sugar to boil in heavy saucepan over medium heat, stirring frequently with wooden spoon. 3.in small bowl mix amaretto w/ cornstarch(whisk) to blend-then whisk into cream mixture 4.simmer over med-low heat until sauce thickens about 2 min.(can be made 2 days ahead) cover & refrig--rewarmbefore serving BREAD PUDDING 1.lightly butter 9x13x2 dish 2.arrange brd cubes in prepared dish 3.in lg bowl whisk eggs, cream,milk & sugar to blend 4.pour custard over brd cubes-gently press to submerge 5.cover -refrig & occasionally press brd cubes to submerge into custard mixture (refrig up to 2 hrs -let stand at rm temp 30 min before baking) 6. bake 325 convection oven (350 regular) for about 45 min--till set in center and puffed up 7. cool slightly --serve w/ warmed Amaretto sauce
