Number Of Ingredients 8

12 dill pickle spears
1 large onion, sliced and halved
3 (1/4 inch thick) round steaks, cut into 4 pieces and pounded thin
toothpicks
¼ cup vegetable oil
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
3 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover pickle brine. I always have a jar of pickle brine in my fridge, and now I know what to do with it!

I'm not a big fan of pickles, but I really enjoyed this dish. The pickle flavor was subtle and didn't overpower the steak.

This steak recipe is a real winner! The meat was fork-tender and the gravy was rich and flavorful. I served it with mashed potatoes and green beans, and my family loved it.
