Pineapple Chess Pie image

I saw this pie recipe and my love of pineapple had me at the gate. I have not tried it yet but looks easy. Let me know what you think!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 pkg unbaked pie shell
1 1/2 c sugar
1 Tbsp cornmeal
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 can(s) 8 oz can of undrained pineapple
1 Tbsp flour

Steps:

  • 1. Melt butter and set aside. Beat together sugar, cornmeal, eggs and vanilla extract. Stir in butter, pineapple, coconut and flour. Pour into pie crust, bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool and Enjoy!
