Praline Yams image

This dish is another alternative to the standard marshmallow topped sweet potatoes that's always served during the holidays. This dish is satisfying and not too sweet, and I like to make it throughout the year. Sweet potatoes are not just for Thanksgiving any more!

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 can(s) cut yams
1/3 c pecans, in pieces
1/3 c coconut, flaked
1/3 c brown sugar, firmly packed
3 Tbsp all purpose flour
3 Tbsp butter, melted

Steps:

  • 1. Place drained yams in an ungreased 1 1/2" quart baking dish. In a small bowl combine remaining ingredients; blend well. Sprinkle this over the yams.
  • 2. Bake @ 350* for 35-40 minutes, or until casserole bubbles.
