Quickie Dessert image

As a young girl with three brothers and one sister I remember making this dessert with my Mother. We always had a yard full of neighbor kids coming over to play. This was a quick and easy dessert to make for a Mom with five children and who was on a tight budget.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my dessert didn't turn out as good as the picture. I'm not sure what I did wrong.
