Refried Beans - Frijoles Refritos image

Super simple side dish. Or use it as a burrito filling.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 15-oz can(s) refried beans
1 tsp garlic, minced
2 Tbsp bacon drippings
2 oz chopped green chilies
salt and pepper
1/2 c mexican blend shredded cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Heat bacon drippings in frying pan or saucepan. Add beans and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 2. Top with cheese and serve when melted.
