Sloppy Dogs - Ground Beef Sloppy Joes With Cheese in Hot Dog Bun image

From Disney's Magic Kitchen Cookbook. My nine-year-old son picked this for his cooking night. I eat gluten free, so just skip the bun and put the meat over salad greens (like a taco salad) for myself, since I have yet to find a gluten free bun that I like.

The sloppy joe mixture was delicious, but the hot dog buns were a bit too soft. I think I would have preferred a sturdier bun.

These sloppy dogs were a little too sloppy for my taste. I think I would have preferred them on a hamburger bun instead of a hot dog bun.

I've made sloppy joes before, but never in hot dog buns. This was a great idea! The buns held up well to the sloppy joe mixture and the cheese melted perfectly.
