Sloppy Joe Under a Bun image

I usually keep a can of sloppy joe sauce in the pantry, because our kids love sloppy joes. But sometimes I don't have buns on hand. With this fun casserole, we can still enjoy the flavors that they love in a flash. The bun-like top crust is made with biscuit mix, sprinkled with sesame seeds and baked until golden. -Trish Bloom, Ray, Michigan

I've made this recipe several times and it's always a hit. The sauce is so flavorful and the buns are always soft and fluffy. I love that I can make it ahead of time and just pop it in the oven when I'm ready to serve.

This recipe was a disaster. The sauce was too runny and the buns were soggy. I won't be making this again.

I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. This recipe is just okay. The sauce is a bit too sweet for my taste.

This recipe is a great way to use up leftover ground beef. I usually make a big batch of sloppy joe sauce and then freeze it in individual portions. That way, I can always have a quick and easy meal on hand.
