A "cool" winter drink from Texas Tables

Provided by Lynnda Cloutier

Categories     Cocktails

Number Of Ingredients 4

3 oz white cranberry juice
2 oz blue curacao
1 oz vodka
1 piece dry ice

Steps:

  • 1. Mix the cranberry juice, liqueur, and vodka with ice cubes in a shaker. Shake and pour into one or two martini glasses. Add the dry ice for a smoky effect. Be cautious with the dry ice, as it will burn your skin. A small amount will have plenty of effect. Serves 1 to 2

I love the flavor of this martini, but it's a bit too sweet for me. I would recommend using less simple syrup or adding more lemon juice.

I'm not a fan of peppermint, so I used crème de cacao instead of peppermint schnapps. It turned out great! The chocolate flavor pairs well with the white chocolate liqueur.

I'm not a big fan of sweet drinks, but this martini was surprisingly refreshing. The peppermint flavor is not overpowering and the white chocolate liqueur adds a nice touch of sweetness.
