Sofia Loren's Pasta Sauce With Onions and Pancetta image

This is a recipe that is more than the sum of it's parts. Bacon can be used instead of Pancetta making this a great "unexpected company" dish.

Amazing! This sauce is so flavorful and easy to make. I used it on spaghetti and it was a huge hit with my family. I'll definitely be making this again and again.

This sauce was a bit bland for my taste. I think I would have preferred it with more garlic and herbs.

This sauce was a bit too oily for my taste. I think I would have preferred it with less pancetta. Otherwise, the flavor was good.

I followed the recipe exactly and the sauce turned out great. It had a nice balance of flavors and the pancetta added a nice salty touch. I served it over fettuccine and it was a big hit with my guests. Definitely recommend!

This sauce is so easy to make, yet it tastes like it simmered for hours. The onions and pancetta give it a really rich flavor. I used it on penne pasta and it was delicious. Will definitely be making this again!

Sofia Loren's pasta sauce is a classic for a reason. It's simple, yet so flavorful. The onions and pancetta add a nice depth of flavor to the sauce, and the tomatoes are perfectly balanced. I served it over spaghetti and it was a hit with my family.
