Can't even remember when or where I got this recipe but I have enjoyed it since I was little. Not a difficult recipe for kids to make but requires some supervision with the stove top cooking.

I'm not a big fan of peanut butter, but I loved these surfer squares. The chocolate and graham cracker crust are a perfect combination.

These surfer squares were a disaster! The crust was too crumbly and the filling was too runny. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what went wrong.

I used dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet and they turned out perfectly. These surfer squares are now my go-to dessert for potlucks.
