Simply toss with your meat/fish/tofu for 20 mins or longer if you can. Will keep for 3 days in the fridge. If you can't find five spice paste it is so easy to make try my recipe for it.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but my chicken turned out dry and tough. I followed the recipe exactly, so I'm not sure what happened.

This marinade is a great way to use up leftover chicken. I shredded the chicken and used it in tacos and it was delicious.

I found that the marinade made the chicken a bit too sweet for my taste. Next time I'll reduce the amount of tamarind.

I was a bit skeptical about the combination of tamarind and five-spice powder, but it actually worked really well. The chicken was moist and flavorful.

The marinade is a bit spicy for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. Next time I'll use less chili powder.

I love the combination of sweet and savory in this marinade. The tamarind adds a nice tanginess that balances out the richness of the five-spice powder.
