Tarhana is a kind of Turkish tomato-onion based sourdough that's used in this traditional soup. We had this during our time spent in Turkey and it was delicious.

This soup is okay, but I've had better. I think it needs more spices.

I'm allergic to gluten, so I used gluten-free sourdough starter. The soup turned out just as good!

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my soup turned out bland. I think I might have added too much water.

I'm not a big fan of sour soups, but this one was surprisingly good. The sourness is subtle and it's balanced out by the other flavors in the soup.

This soup is a great way to use up leftover sourdough. I always have a jar of sourdough starter in my fridge, so it's nice to have a recipe that uses it up.

I love that this soup is made with all natural ingredients. It's so much healthier than other soups that are full of processed ingredients.

This soup is amazing! It's so flavorful and comforting. I love the sour tang from the sourdough and the hearty texture of the lentils and bulgur. It's the perfect soup for a cold winter day.
