Steps:
- Mix cream cheese and soup in top of a double boiler. Soften gelatin in 2 Tbls. of cold water. Add to cheese mixture. Place over heat, over hot water. Stir until hot and cheese is melted. Remove from heat. Add onion, pinch of salt, salad dressing, and shrimp. Pour into a mold and chill until firm. Turn out and serve with crackers.
