Toll House Pie image

A yummy delicious rich pie that tasts like a toll house cookie. I received this recipe about twenty years ago. It was served in a local resturant and the recipe was given to me through a friend. This has often been requested for Birthdays instead of cake.

I think this recipe would be better if you used a different type of chocolate.

I accidentally used salted butter instead of unsalted butter and my pie tasted way too salty.

I was a bit hesitant to try this recipe because I'm not a big fan of nuts, but I'm so glad I did! The nuts added a nice crunch and flavor to the pie.
