I've tried making these almond puff pastries twice now and both times they've been a complete failure. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

These almond puff pastries were a disaster! The dough was too sticky and the filling was too runny. I ended up throwing the whole batch away.

I had a hard time getting the pastry dough to roll out thinly enough. My almond puff pastries ended up being a bit thick, but they still tasted good.

These almond puff pastries were a bit too sweet for my taste, but they were still good. I would recommend using less sugar in the filling next time.
