Amaretto French Toast image

This is a recipe to spice up your breakfast and brunch! Especially for that special breakfast for your special love! What a dish to serve for Valentine's, Anniversaries, or just a romantic bed and breakfast at home!!!

Number Of Ingredients 6

6 Tbsp amaretto liqueur
4 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c milk
12 slice french bread
amaretto butter (see recipe)
amaretto syrup (see recipe)

Steps:

  • 1. In shallow bowl mix all ingredients except bread.
  • 2. Soak bread in mixture.
  • 3. In large skillet, melt some butter.
  • 4. Drain bread.
  • 5. Cook in buttter until both sides are golden brown.
  • 6. Serve immediately with amaretto butter and amaretto syrup.
  • 7. NOTE: For a change, try irish cream instead of amaretto.
