Apple Cinnamon Nut Crumble Slab Pie image

I used my favorite butter crust to create this pie. It has a yummy cinnamon spice flavor. The combination of spice with the Golden Delicious apples is so outstanding! I also topped it off with a cinnamon walnut crumble that adds an extra flavor level. It kind of reminds me of an apple crisp served in a pie shell. You will love...

I used a mix of Granny Smith and Honeycrisp apples and they worked perfectly. The Granny Smiths gave the pie a little bit of tartness, while the Honeycrisps added sweetness.

I'm not a huge fan of cinnamon, so I used a little less than the recipe called for. It still turned out great.
