Apple Salsa with Cilantro and Lime image

A nice change from tomato-based salsas.

1 c red apple, unpeeled and diced
1/4 c red onion, diced
1/4 c anaheim chili, seeded and minced
1/2 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced (optional)
2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
1 tsp fresh cilantro, chopped
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp salt
tortilla chips for dipping

Steps:

  • 1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, mix well.
  • 2. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or overnight. Serve with tortilla chips.
