Award Winning Chili image

This recipe was given to me from a friend my family loves it. Its great to start during the day and have for a bonfire or for game day. Hope you enjoy it as much as my family does.

Number Of Ingredients 10

5 lb 80 - 90% lean ground beef
3 large bell peppers
1 large onion (chopped)
1 can(s) strewed tomatoes chopped (lg can)
10 oz cans tomatoes sause (10 10oz cans)
1/2 can(s) tomatoes paste
1 jar(s) chili powder (i us surfine from dollar general)
garlic powder
season salt
2 Tbsp sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Brown ground meat with onions and the seasoning.
  • 2. Drain off the fat.
  • 3. Add bell peppers, stewed tomatoes, kideny beans, Tomatoes sauce, tomatoes paste, sugar. Stir every 10-15 mins for 3 - 4 hours.
