Steps:
- Cut licorice into twenty-four 4-1/2-in. pieces. Make a small slit in the bottom of a gumdrop near one edge; insert one licorice piece end into the gumdrop. Make another slit in the opposite side of the gumdrop; insert the other end of the licorice. , Carefully push the small end of gumdrop up through the hole of a butter cookie. Repeat with remaining gumdrops, licorice and cookies.
