Quiche is considered a French dish, however egg custards in pastry were known in English cuisine at least as early as the 14th century!

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 375
- 2. Cook and crumble bacon.
- 3. Saute onion and mushrooms in a small amount of bacon drippings until soft. (Onions aren't pictured because I was making it for someone who doesn't eat them)
- 4. Toss cheese with flour.
- 5. Slightly beat eggs. Add Milk, salt, pepper and red pepper to eggs. Fold in bacon and onion into egg mixture, then cheese and mushrooms.
- 6. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Place pie tin on a cookie sheet and bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes.
- 7. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
