Baked Breaded Pork Chops image

The best thing about this recipe is its adaptability. No panko in the house? Use crushed saltines. No asiago cheese? Use parmesan instead. You can very easily find ways to expand this recipe to keep it fresh and avoid that "same old supper" situation.

6 bone-in pork chops, about 1 inch thick
2 c grated asiago cheese
1 Tbsp italian seasoning
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 c butter, melted
3 c panko bread crumbs

Steps:

  • 1. Combine panko, grated asiago, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder in medium bowl and mix well.
  • 2. Dip each pork chop in melted butter and dredge in panko mixture, making sure you coat all sides thoroughly.
  • 3. Arrange breaded chops in a 9x13 baking dish. Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 35-40 minutes or until done.
