BAKED CLAM DIP image

Yield 6-8 servings

Number Of Ingredients 16

2 cans minced clams
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Simmer clams in clam juuice and lemon juice for 15 minutes.
Mince the following:
1 medium onion
1 garlic clove
1/2 green pepper
1/4 pound of margarine
1 teaspoon dry parsley
1 teaspoon oregano
paprika and pepper to taste
Simmer until soft.
Combine the two mixtures plus 1/2 to 3/4 cups of breadcrumbs
Pour into baking dish and arrange cheese slices on top.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese grated and paprika.

Steps:

  • Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Bake in oven for 15 minutes. Serve with crackers.
