Steps:
- 1. Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Cut shortening into flour.
- 2. Add milk all at once and stir until dough stiffens. Dough should be soft.
- 3. Turn out onto a floured board and knead then roll out to 3/4 in. thick and cut into buscuits. Brush tops with butter and Bake at 450 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
