I tried playing around with a few recipes, and this is the one that worked out the best for my family. It's a light cookie; I found that making it into bars worked better for me, since I only had one hand and could not spoon them onto a cookie sheet. I also used a food processor to mix the batter to make it quicker and easier to do while holding my daughter. :)

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Grease an 8x9 (for thicker bars), or a 13x9x2 (for thinner bars) pan.
- Slice up bananas (makes it easier to mix).
- Mix butter, shortening, egg, and bananas until creamy.
- In a separate bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
- Slowly add the dry mix to the creamy mix until blended.
- Mix in the oats.
- Pour mix into pan.
- Bake 10 minutes.
