I spotted this recipe in a magazine about 40 years ago. Its tasty ingredients and ease of preparation appealed to me. I recall when my preschool daughter and I were planning her upcoming birthday party, I asked her what kind of cake she wanted. She replied, "I don't want a cake...I want that 'brickle stuff'." -Betty Ferguson, Edmonton, Alberta

I'm not a fan of bananas, so I used strawberries instead. It was still delicious.

This recipe is a bit too sweet for my taste. I would cut the sugar in the toffee sauce in half.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my toffee sauce didn't turn out. The rest of the dessert was still good, though.

I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out great. The only thing I would change is to use a little less sugar in the toffee sauce.

This banana toffee cream is absolutely divine! The combination of flavors and textures is perfect. The bananas add a natural sweetness, the toffee sauce is rich and decadent, and the cream is light and fluffy. I will definitely be making this again a
