Bar-B-Que Meatballs image

A friend of ours made these for us and my husband went wild. I have since made these for family gatherings and everyone always requests the recipe. My grandmother even requested the recipe to make for her church group, which was a big compliment for me. I like to serve them with garlic mashed potatoes and a salad.

These meatballs are a great way to get kids to eat their vegetables. I often hide some chopped carrots and celery in the meatballs and they never even notice.

I made these meatballs in my slow cooker and they turned out perfect! I just threw all the ingredients in the slow cooker and cooked them on low for 6 hours. They were so tender and flavorful.

I used a combination of ground beef and ground pork for the meatballs and they were really flavorful. I also added a little bit of cayenne pepper to the BBQ sauce for a bit of a kick.

I added some chopped bacon to the meatballs and they were amazing! The bacon added a nice smoky flavor and made the meatballs even more moist.

I followed the recipe exactly and the meatballs turned out dry and overcooked. I'm not sure what went wrong.

I was a little hesitant to try these meatballs because I'm not a big fan of BBQ sauce, but I'm so glad I did! The sauce was actually really good and the meatballs were cooked perfectly.
