Barb's Cabbage Rolls image

I have always loved cabbage rolls. This is my stepmom's recipe, and it is very easy to make. I am thinking that an easy update would be to cook them in the crockpot!

Number Of Ingredients 12

STUFFING:
hamburger or sausage
onion
egg
salt, pepper and sage
cooked rice
STEW:
tomatoes
tomato paste
basil
ROLLS
cabbage

Steps:

  • 1. Pour boiling water over cabbage leaves until limp. Wrap up with the stuffing. Drop in stew in heavy pot 1 hour or longer.
  • 2. I am thinking it would also be easy to put into a crockpot...
