BBQ for a crowd image

This is one of my mother's greatest recipes!!! Also, this is a good recipe if you are feeding a lot of people.

Number Of Ingredients 12

4 lb ground beef
1 c chopped onin
1/4 c lemon juice
1 c water
2 Tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp butter
14 oz ketchup
1/2 c chopped celery
1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp salt
1/2 tsp dry mustard
2 tsp vingar

Steps:

  • 1. Brown beef and onion in butter. Add cooked beef, onions and remaining ingredients to a crock pot and cook on low for 2 hours or more. Serve on hamburger buns. Also, good to top with cole slaw.
