I found this beer bread muffin recipe because we don't always have Bisquick.The original recipe called for self rising flour and we don't always have that on hand,as a matter of fact,I never buy self rising flour,I just add salt,baking powder and baking soda to the flour and make my own self rising flour. The key to this muffins...

3 c flour
3 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
2 t. sugar
12 oz beer

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 deg. Mix dry ingredients well.Slowly add beer,mix gently just until combined.Do not over mix! Pour into 12 greased muffin tins.Bake 20-25 mins.
