Berry Chocolate Candy Bar Smoothie image

This is how I work some extra dark leafy greens into my kids' diet. Rich, chocolaty, and packed with anti-oxidants and vitamins. The perfect way to detox in the midst of a decadent holiday season. Add extra maple syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla or salt if needed. Enjoy!

2 cups chopped kale
1 ½ cups frozen blueberries
1 ½ cups whole milk
1 ½ cups apple juice
1 cup frozen raspberries
¼ cup maple syrup, or more to taste
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, or more to taste
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 pinches sea salt

Steps:

  • Blend kale, blueberries, milk, apple juice, raspberries, maple syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and sea salt together in a blender until smooth.
