Bisquick Snowballs image

Great for that Holiday buffet. Do-ahead snowy white cookies. Very pretty with fresh fruit compote.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/3 c butter or margarine, softened
1/2 c powdered sugar
2 c bisquick baking mix
1/2 c ground nuts
3/4 tsp almond extract
2 Tbsp milk or water or juice
extra powdered sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 325^. Cream butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar, Stir in bisquick, nuts and almond extract. Mix in enough water to moisten dough only.
  • 2. Shape dough by level teaspoonfuls into balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
  • 3. Bake about 8 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet. While warm, roll in powdered sugar.
