Time 55m

Yield 1 casserole dish

Number Of Ingredients 8

4 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup soft margarine
2 cups milk
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
coconut (optional)
cinnamon (optional)

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients except cinnamon in a blender in order given. Process until thoroughly blended; it will be slightly foamy. Pour into a buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle top with cinnamon.
  • Bake at 375* for 45 minutes to 1 hour. This makes it's own crust. The top will be brown and puff up as it cooks but will settle down as it cools.

I'm not a fan of custard, but the pie was still good. I think it would be even better with a different filling, like fruit or chocolate.

I'm allergic to nuts, so I used graham cracker crumbs instead of the walnuts in the crust. It turned out great!

I love that this recipe uses simple ingredients that I already have on hand. It's a great way to use up leftover milk and eggs.

This recipe is a keeper! I've made it twice now and it's been perfect both times. The custard is so creamy and the crust is flaky and golden brown.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my pie didn't turn out as good as the picture. The custard was a bit watery.

The custard pie was good, but the crust was a bit too thick for my taste.

I was skeptical about making a pie in the blender, but I'm so glad I did! The crust was perfect and the custard was creamy and delicious. I'll definitely be making this again.
