Tips:

  • Choose the right cut of steak: Flank steak, skirt steak, or hanger steak are all good options for lemon steak. They are relatively thin and cook quickly, so they won't become tough.
  • Tenderize the steak: Pounding the steak with a meat mallet or marinating it in a mixture of lemon juice, olive oil, and garlic can help to tenderize it.
  • Cook the steak over high heat: This will help to create a nice crust on the outside of the steak while keeping the inside juicy.
  • Don't overcook the steak: Lemon steak is best when cooked to medium-rare or medium. Overcooking will make it tough.
  • Serve the steak with a lemon-based sauce: This could be a simple mixture of lemon juice, butter, and herbs, or a more complex sauce made with white wine, lemon zest, and capers.

Conclusion:

Lemon steak is a classic dish that is both delicious and easy to make. By following these tips, you can create a perfect lemon steak that will impress your family and friends.
