6 Frozen Mozzarella Sticks
Dipping Sauce Options: (Marinara sauce, ketchup, ranch, sweet chili sauce, mustard sauce, etc...)

Steps:

  • Place the frozen mozzarella sticks in the air fryer basket and spread out evenly in a single layer. No oil spray is needed.
  • Air Fry at 380°F/193°C for 5 minutes. Gently shake or turn. Continue to Air Fry at 380°F/193°C for another 1-2 minutes OR until the cheese nearly starts to ooze out.
  • Make sure to let them cool a little before eating. The cheese can be super hot. Serve with your favorite dip.

12 Mozzarella cheese sticks
1/4 cup flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
1/2 cup Panko Bread crumbs
1/8 cup parmesan cheese (grated)

Steps:

  • You will need 3 small bowls. Place flour in one bowl, eggs in a second bowl (beat them together) and then both bread crumbs and parmesan cheese in a third bowl (mixed together).
  • Cut each string cheese in half and line a cookie sheet with foil or parchment paper. Spray with nonstick spray.
  • Coat one sting cheese in the flour, then in the eggs, then in the bread crumb mixture. Place on the cookie sheet.
  • Continue to do this until all of the string cheese are on the cookie sheet.
  • Place in the freezer for at least 2 hours until frozen through.
  • Do not preheat the air fryer.
  • Spray the cheese sticks with olive oil and cook them in the air fryer at 390 degrees F for 5-6 minutes until they begin to brown and get soft. Watch them closely as if they are over cooked, the cheese will seep out of the breading.
  • Let sit for a few minutes and then serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!

8 Mozzarella string cheese sticks
½ cup Almond flour
2 ½ oz Pork rinds, crushed into crumbs
1 Egg
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tbsp Parsley flakes
Salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Place the almond flour, garlic powder, parsley flakes as well as salt and pepper to taste into a shallow bowl or plate and mix together well.
  • Add the beaten egg to a bowl.
  • Place the crushed pork rind crumbs into another shallow bowl or plate.
  • Cut the mozzarella string cheese sticks in half across the middle forming a total of 16 cheese sticks.
  • Roll the cheese sticks into the almond flour mixture, then dip into the egg before finally dredging in the pork rind crumbs.
