Tips for Making the Perfect Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets with Panko:

  • Use high-quality chicken. The better the chicken, the better the nuggets will be. Look for chicken breasts or tenders that are fresh, juicy, and free of any visible fat or gristle.
  • Cut the chicken into uniform pieces. This will help them cook evenly. If your nuggets are different sizes, some will be overcooked while others are still undercooked.
  • Use a good quality panko breadcrumb. Panko breadcrumbs are lighter and crispier than regular breadcrumbs. They will give your nuggets a nice crunch.
  • Season the chicken and breadcrumb mixture well. This is what will give your nuggets their flavor. Use a variety of seasonings, such as garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt and pepper.
  • Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket. If you overcrowd the basket, the nuggets will not cook evenly. Leave some space between each nugget so that the hot air can circulate all around them.
  • Cook the nuggets until they are golden brown and crispy. This will usually take about 10-12 minutes. Don't overcook the nuggets, or they will become tough and dry.
  • Conclusion:

Air fryer chicken nuggets with panko are a quick, easy, and delicious meal that the whole family will love. They are perfect for a weeknight dinner, a party appetizer, or a game day snack. With a few simple tips, you can make air fryer chicken nuggets that are crispy, juicy, and flavorful.
