FRENCH VANILLA ALMOND GRANOLA

French Vanilla Almond Granola image

My husband loves the french vanilla almond granola found in the bulk bins at the grocery store. It is so expensive, I decided to come up with my own recipe. Slow baking and lots of vanilla make this granola crunchy and delicious. I have found that when I increase the recipe, it requires more baking time. When I double the recipe, I have to bake it for 3 hours or more. Just keep baking until dry to the touch.

Tips:

  • Use a variety of nuts and seeds. This will add flavor and texture to your granola. Some popular choices include almonds, walnuts, pecans, sunflower seeds, and chia seeds.
  • Don't overcook the granola. This will make it tough and chewy. Bake it until it is golden brown and fragrant, but still slightly soft in the center.
  • Add dried fruit or other mix-ins after the granola has cooled. This will help to prevent the fruit from becoming tough and chewy.
  • Store the granola in an airtight container at room temperature. It will keep for up to 2 weeks.

Conclusion:

Almond crunch granola is a delicious and healthy snack or breakfast option. It is easy to make and can be customized to your liking. With its crunchy texture, nutty flavor, and hint of sweetness, this granola is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
