1 cup butter, softened
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup sugar
1 cup confectioners' sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, beat the butter, oil and sugars. Beat in eggs until well blended. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and cream of tartar; gradually add to creamed mixture., Drop by small teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake until lightly browned, 8-10 minutes. 2 cups sugar
3 eggs
7-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking soda
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon ground cloves
2 cups confectioners' sugar
3 tablespoon fat-free milk

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, beat honey and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. 1 cup raisins
1 cup water
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • In a small saucepan, combine raisins and water. Bring to a boil; cook until liquid is reduced to 1/2 cup. Set aside to cool. , In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
1 cup cooking oil
2 eggs
4 1/2 cups flour
