  • To make a perfect crumble topping, use a combination of oats, flour, butter, and brown sugar. The oats will add a nutty flavor and texture, the flour will help to bind the ingredients together, the butter will add richness and flavor, and the brown sugar will add sweetness and a slightly caramelized flavor.
  • If you don't have any oats, you can use crushed graham crackers or cornflakes instead.
  • To make the caramel sauce, use a combination of butter, brown sugar, and heavy cream. The butter will add richness and flavor, the brown sugar will add sweetness and a slightly caramelized flavor, and the heavy cream will help to create a smooth and creamy sauce.
  • If you don't have any heavy cream, you can use milk instead. However, the sauce will not be as thick and creamy.
  • To make the apple filling, use a combination of apples, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The apples will provide a tart and sweet flavor, the sugar will add sweetness, the cinnamon will add a warm and spicy flavor, and the nutmeg will add a slightly nutty flavor.
  • If you don't have any nutmeg, you can use allspice or cloves instead.
