APPLE DIP

This is a great dip for sliced apples of any kind. The recipe uses the plain toffee bits but I accidently bought the kind with chocolate once and used them anyway and it was still really good.

APPLE DIP (IT'S NOT JUST FOR APPLES ANYMORE)

Apple Dip (It's Not Just for Apples Anymore) image

I love this dip, possibly more than caramel dip! HOWEVER, it seems I have limited it's possibilities by implying that it should be reserved for apples solely from the recipe's title. That is not the case!! WHY should you try this dip? Well the marshmallow and cream cheese dip is great, but I believe it's the cinnamon that really sets it apart!! I think you could put the ingredients on a long list of things, but I'll let you use your own creativity for that. I prefer it with very tart apples, such as Northern Spy or Granny Smith, but have used it with all sorts since dh likes sweet and softer apples. It is very good and very easy and can be prepared in advance, such as for parties.

APPLE DIP

Great flavored dip, great for company, the game, or for dessert.. This is a slow cooker recipe, but I have tried it without the cooker, and after cooking on stove top, it could be placed in bowls, or a dipping platter.

Tips:

  • Choose the right apple. Sweet apples, like Honeycrisp or Fuji, are best for dips that are served immediately. Tart apples, like Granny Smith or Braeburn, can hold their own against stronger flavors and are better for dips that need to sit for a while.
  • Don't over-peel the apples. A little bit of peel adds flavor and texture to the dip.
  • Use a variety of ingredients. Don't be afraid to experiment with different fruits, nuts, and spices. The more variety, the better the dip will be.
  • Make sure the dip is well-chilled. This will help it to set and will also make it more refreshing.
  • Serve the dip with a variety of dippers. Apples, pretzels, crackers, and cookies are all great options.

Conclusion:

Apple dip is a delicious and versatile snack or dessert that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. It's easy to make and can be tailored to your own personal taste. So next time you're looking for something sweet and satisfying, give apple dip a try. You won't be disappointed!
