1 cup water, cold
1/3 cup walnut pieces
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
4 tablespoons melted butter or 4 tablespoons oil

  • Cook for about two minutes on medium heat or until the edges are set and the bubbles remain open.
  • Turn over and cook on the other side.

Tips:

  • Use fresh apples: Fresh apples provide a crisp texture and a more intense flavor compared to pre-packaged or frozen apples.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixed batter can result in tough pancakes. Mix the batter until just combined, then stop.
  • Cook the pancakes over medium heat: Medium heat helps the pancakes cook evenly without burning them.
  • Flip the pancakes only once: Flipping the pancakes too often can result in them breaking apart. Flip the pancakes only once, when bubbles start to form around the edges.
  • Serve the pancakes warm: Pancakes are best served warm, so serve them immediately after cooking.

Conclusion:

Apple walnut pancakes with cinnamon cream and chocolate sauce are a delicious and decadent breakfast or brunch dish. The pancakes are light and fluffy, with a hint of sweetness from the apples and walnuts. The cinnamon cream adds a touch of warmth and spice, while the chocolate sauce provides a rich and indulgent finish. This dish is sure to impress your family and friends, and it's a great way to use up leftover apples.
