Tips:

  • Use quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the toastie will be. Look for high-quality bread, cheese, and fillings.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment: There are endless possibilities when it comes to making toasties. Try different combinations of bread, cheese, and fillings to find your favorites.
  • Don't overcrowd the toastie: If you put too much filling in your toastie, it will be difficult to close and cook evenly. Aim for a thin layer of filling so that the cheese can melt and the bread can get crispy.
  • Cook the toastie over medium heat: This will help to prevent the bread from burning and the cheese from overcooking.
  • Press the toastie down while it cooks: This will help to ensure that the cheese melts evenly and the bread gets crispy.
