Tips:
- For the best flavor, use a combination of chicken thighs and breasts. Dark meat, such as chicken thighs, adds a lot of richness and flavor to the dish.
- Be sure to marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes, but no longer than 24 hours. This will help the chicken absorb the flavors of the marinade.
- When grilling the chicken, cook it over medium-high heat until it is cooked through. This will help to keep the chicken moist and juicy.
- If you don't have a grill, you can also cook the chicken in a grill pan or in the oven.
- The slaw is a great way to add a fresh, crunchy element to the dish. Be sure to use a variety of vegetables in the slaw, such as cabbage, carrots, and bell peppers.
- The Asian barbecue sauce is what really makes this dish special. Be sure to use a high-quality sauce, or make your own.
Conclusion:
This Asian barbecue chicken slaw is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a summer cookout. The chicken is marinated in a flavorful Asian barbecue sauce, then grilled and served on a bed of slaw.
