CHINESE STYLE BROTH
I have been looking for a good recipe for a good chinese broth like the one served in a local restaurant. They add spinach and bean curd (tofu) and I just love it. I hope this is what I am looking for. I guess you could add any number of things, chinese vegies, wontons, use it as an eggdrop soup base, whatever. I haven't tried it yet, just placing it here for safe keeping. I'll update when I do try it and let you know what I think, good or bad.

Tips:
- Choose the right tofu: Firm or extra-firm tofu will hold its shape better in the broth.
- Press the tofu: Pressing the tofu removes excess water, resulting in a firmer texture.
- Marinate the tofu: Marinating the tofu in a flavorful mixture before cooking adds extra flavor.
- Use a variety of vegetables: Different vegetables provide different flavors and textures to the broth.
- Don't overcrowd the pot: If you add too many ingredients to the pot, the broth will become diluted and less flavorful.
- Simmer, don't boil: Simmering the broth gently allows the flavors to develop without overcooking the vegetables.
- Season to taste: Taste the broth before serving and adjust the seasonings as needed.
- Serve with your favorite toppings: Rice, noodles, scallions, cilantro, and sesame seeds are all popular toppings for Asian broth.
Conclusion:
Asian broth with tofu and rice is a delicious and healthy meal that is perfect for a quick and easy lunch or dinner. It is also a great way to use up leftover vegetables. With its simple ingredients and flavorful broth, this dish is sure to become a favorite in your household. So next time you're looking for a comforting and satisfying meal, give this Asian broth with tofu and rice a try.
