Tips:

  • Use high-quality bacon. The better the bacon, the better the dish will be. Look for bacon that is thick-cut and has a good amount of marbling.
  • Cook the bacon until it is crispy. This will help to render out the fat and give the bacon a delicious flavor.
  • Use a variety of vegetables. This will add color, flavor, and nutrients to the dish. Some good options include carrots, celery, onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers.
  • Use a good quality wild rice blend. There are many different brands of wild rice blends available, so be sure to choose one that you like. Look for a blend that includes a variety of wild rice, such as black, brown, and red.
  • Season the dish well. This will help to bring out the flavors of the ingredients. Some good seasonings to use include salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  • Bake the dish until the rice is tender. This will usually take about 30 minutes. If you are using a wild rice blend that includes brown rice, you may need to bake the dish for a few minutes longer.
