2 teaspoons baking powder
1-1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 large eggs
2 cups fat-free milk
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup canola oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large apple, chopped
1/4 cup sunflower kernels or pepitas

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, mix the first five ingredients. In a small bowl, whisk eggs, milk, syrup, oil and vanilla until blended; stir into dry ingredients. Let stand 5 minutes. 2 tablespoons Coconut Sugar
2 teaspoons Ground Cinnamon

2 cups Unsweetened ALmond Milk
1/2 cup Unsweetened Applesauce

1/2 cup Chopped Walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375'F. Lightly grease a 2 quart casserole dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, ginger, salt, and nutmeg. Mix well.
  • In a separate bowl, combine almond milk, applesauce, maple syrup, and vanilla and stir well to combine.
  • Pour the liquid mixture over the oat mixture and stir until combined. The mixture will be soupy. Stir in the apples and pear.
