1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup 2% milk
3 medium tart apples, peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons butter, cubed
2 cups boiling water
Vanilla ice cream, optional

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. In a large bowl, mix the first five ingredients. Add milk; stir just until blended. Fold in apples. Transfer to a greased 2-1/2-qt. deep baking dish. 1/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

2 cups grated peeled tart apples
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups low-fat vanilla frozen yogurt

Steps:

  • In a bowl, beat together the butter, sugar and egg until blended. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon; gradually add to the sugar mixture and mix well. 1 c sugar
3/4 c soft butter
1 egg
2 c apples, thinly sliced
1/4 tsp salt
1 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp nutmeg
sauce:
1/2 c butter
1 c sugar
1/2 c half & half (light cream)
1 tsp vanilla

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 Cream butter and sugar, add egg and beat well, add apples Combine dry ingredients and add to cream mixture. Bake in greased 8 by 8 baking dish at for about 45 minutes.
  • 2. Sauce: Heat butter, sugar and cream on low heat for 15 minutes, stirring until slightly thick, add vanilla. Serve over warm pudding.
  • 3. I heat the sauce until hot and then set the timer for 15 minutes and stir constantly until the timer goes off. I also, spoon this all over the top of the warm pudding (it soaks in as it cools) and then wait for it to cool until warm to serve it. I think it taste the best at room temp. Cover loosely or it will stick to the cover. I refrigerate it (if it makes it there) but let it get room temperature before serving it.
