Tips:

  • Choose the freshest bluefish possible: Look for fish with bright, clear eyes, red gills, and a firm, springy body.
  • Score the fish before baking: This will help the glaze penetrate the fish and create a more flavorful dish.
  • Roast the vegetables separately: This will help them caramelize and brown, giving them a more complex flavor.
  • Make the glaze ahead of time: This will give the flavors time to meld and develop.
  • Use a baking dish that is large enough to accommodate the fish and vegetables: You don't want the fish to be crowded in the dish, or the vegetables to be piled on top of each other.
  • Bake the fish until it is cooked through: The fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve the fish immediately with the roasted vegetables and glaze: Enjoy!

Conclusion:

Baked bluefish with sweet mustard glaze is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal. The fish is flaky and moist, the glaze is sweet and tangy, and the roasted vegetables are tender and flavorful. This dish is sure to please everyone at the table.
