Tips:

  • Brine the chicken: This helps to infuse the chicken with flavor and moisture, resulting in a more tender and juicy final product.
  • Sear the chicken: Searing the chicken before baking helps to create a flavorful crust and lock in the juices.
  • Use a flavorful liquid: The liquid that you add to the baking dish will help to create the gravy, so make sure to use something that has a lot of flavor, such as chicken broth, white wine, or apple cider.
  • Add vegetables to the dish: Vegetables will help to add flavor and nutrition to the gravy, and they will also help to prevent the chicken from drying out.
  • Cook the chicken at a low temperature: This will help to prevent the chicken from drying out and will also allow the gravy to develop more flavor.
  • Let the chicken rest before carving: This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, resulting in a more tender and flavorful final product.
